ABOUT THE JOB
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers for questions and sales activities. You'll also create schedules for the goldsmith's workshop and closely monitor processes to ensure a streamlined connection between the shop, customer, and goldsmith's workshop.
You'll also be responsible for the boutique's appearance and jewelry presentation. You'll ensure everything looks perfect and that customers have an excellent experience.
You will work closely with the team in the goldsmith's workshop and our brand manager on marketing and social media, as well as our suppliers.
Additionally, you'll assist with marketing activities, organizing events, and developing customer experiences. You'll contribute to building the brand's (online) awareness and contribute to marketing initiatives. You'll also help create content for social media and assist with photoshoots and webshop operations.
In a nutshell - your tasks
Shop & Boutique
- You manage all store activities and delegate your colleagues where necessary
- You keep track of inventory and convert this into action for ordering materials and supplies.
- You are the point of contact for the store and you are constantly working to provide a great experience for your customers.
- You manage customer contact, send out quotes and manage customer orders.
- You'll play a supporting role in marketing activities, assisting with photoshoots, managing social media and marketing activities, and ordering materials for the goldsmith's workshop.
- You ensure that the store looks presentable.
- You organize events to stimulate sales and customer relations
- You manage the logistics and planning behind the goldsmith's workshop and manage agendas
- You advise your clients on engagement rings, wedding rings, custom-made jewelry, and the best gemstone choices for each client. You can also estimate how repairs should be carried out for the goldsmith's workshop.
- You may also work partly behind the workbench as a goldsmith, if you have experience in this.
Who you are
- You are naturally very sales and customer oriented
- You have a passion for jewelry and fashion and enjoy following trends and developments.
- You have a cheerful, representative appearance and attitude for our boutique.
- You have good communication and social skills.
- You are organized in your work.
- You can work independently and are proactive.
- You are creative and eager to learn
- You have experience with (retail) sales of jewelry
- You have an affinity with marketing/content creation.
- You enjoy working hard in a small team to achieve constant growth.
- Working on Saturdays is no problem for you.
- Basic knowledge of jewelry is a plus, so you know everything about (high-end) gemstones and jewelry!
- Experience as a goldsmith is a plus; this can be discussed if you also want to be able to work for Objet Dore.
