Smaller diamonds generally don't receive an official certificate; the extensive grading process involved is disproportionate to these stones. Nevertheless, at Objet Dore, we attach equal importance to their purity and provenance. Therefore, every customer receives an official Objet Dore certificate of authenticity and conflict-free origin, with which we personally guarantee the quality of every diamond, large or small.

In addition to the well-known four C's – Cut, Clarity, Color , and Carat – we add a fifth: Conscience. Because a diamond is only truly precious when it's mined with integrity.

A conflict diamond is a diamond originating from areas where trade proceeds are used to finance wars or armed conflicts. To prevent this, the Kimberley Process was established in 2000 – an international framework that ensures the fair and transparent trade of rough diamonds. More than 80 countries now participate in this process, meaning that over 99.8% of all diamonds worldwide come from controlled, legitimate sources.
