With proper care, your favorite jewelry will last a lifetime.
Use these handy tips to ensure your jewelry retains its beauty and shine for years to come.
CLEANING
If you wear your jewelry daily, dust and pollution can affect its appearance and lifespan.
We recommend cleaning your jewelry occasionally to remove dirt and keep it in the best condition.
Cleaning your jewelry at home is easy.
Supplies
- 1 teaspoon of dish soap without citric acid
- 1 cup of warm water
- A soft sponge or a soft toothbrush
Method
- Mix the dish soap into the water until it is fully dissolved.
- Dip your jewelry in and use a soft cloth or soft toothbrush to gently scrub it clean.
- Rinse with clean water and let dry on a clean cloth.
Are your jewelry still not clean enough?
Repeat the steps above or visit the boutique to have your jewelry polished and professionally cleaned.
It is advisable to have your jewelry checked for damage and polished for a shiny finish at least once every 2-3 years.
CARRYING & STORAGE
It is advisable to remove all jewellery before showering, sleeping, exercising, cleaning, and performing other invasive activities to prevent soap residue and damage. Soap residue can dull the appearance of gemstones due to dirt buildup.
When not being worn, it is important to store jewellery in a safe and protected place, such as a soft jewellery box with a closable lid.
Another option is to store your pieces separately in soft fabric pouches or boxes.
Prevent jewellery from tangling or rubbing against each other, as this can cause scratches on gold and gemstones.
Ceramic bowls or metal surfaces are not recommended to avoid scratches.
Also, keep jewellery away from heat and corrosive substances such as cleaning agents, bleach, alcohol, and acids.
